Cryo T-Shock Benefits

Cryo T-Shock fat loss and cellulite skin treatment, Fairlawn Aesthetic MD

CryoT-Shock has a lot of questions surrounding it. Cryo-T shock is a revolutionary fat loss treatment. We hear clients asking the same few things a lot, "How does it work? Is it safe? How long do the results last? Is it painful?" Dr. Matt McDaniel and the team at Fairlawn Aesthetics performs the fat loss treatment in the Akron Canton area and want to make sure you have all the answers about your Cryo T-Shock fat loss treatment.

Cryo T-Shock uses a cooling and heating system to contour your body. Your treatment will begin with a few minutes of heat before switching to a prolonged cooling period, and then finishes with a few more minutes of heat. The cool temperatures cause fat cells to go through something called apoptosis. Apoptosis is caused when fat tissue reaches an internal temperature range between 53 and 62 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the temperature has reached this low, the fat cells begin to die and are then naturally passed out of the body.

While results vary from client to client, most targeted fat cells will be eliminated in 2-3 weeks however, it results begin to appear around the one week mark. Contouring generally lasts for several months after treatment. Diet and lifestyle does play a part in how long the results last. It is said that a vigorous workout, massage, or body compression can accelerate the changes. Because Cryo T-Shock is a natural process which means it is safe to have it more frequently than other fat loss procedures. Cryo T-Shock can be safely done every 15 days.

Clients have said that the treatment itself is actually rather enjoyable. Most commonly the shock treatments are done manually and implement a massage like movement. Since the procedure begins with warming the skin and a gradual temperature drop, there is not much temperature discomfort associated with cryo-t shock. Post-treatment there are very minimal side effects. You may experience some discomfort. You will more than likely noticed increased urination for a few days since your body is disposing of the dead cells.

Clients who are looking for quick fat loss, reduce the appearance of cellulite, target stubborn fat areas, and tighten skin are excellent Cryo T-Shock candidates. People who are undergoing dialysis or have been diagnosed with kidney disease, have severe diabetes, are undergoing chemotherapy, or are pregnant should avoid treatment. Deciding Between CoolSculpting and Cryo T Shock?

You've been eating right, exercising, but you still have that stubborn fat hanging around your stomach area. Or maybe you have a double chin that just will not go away! There are some cryotherapy methods out there that have been proven to reduce the amount of fat and cellulite in your body. There is CoolSculpting ® and Cryo T-Shock, but which one is right for you? Which one is better? The CoolSculpting ® procedure is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges under the chin and under the jawline, thigh, abdomen and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks and upper arm. It is also FDA-cleared to affect the appearance of lax tissue with submental (under the chin) area treatments. For most areas, the process takes about 35 minutes. After the deep-freeze damage to the fat cells, they will eventually die and be eliminated by the body — a process which takes time, about 1-3 months or more, resulting in up to 20%-25% reduction of fat in a treated are...

How Often Should I Get a Chemical Peel?

Can you get chemical peels too often? Chemical peels are helpful for a variety of skin conditions. They are often used as acne treatment and can target age spots, improving blemishes, fine lines, and wrinkles. Because of their healing properties, it may be tempting to use chemical peels excessively. However. doing so too much can backfire and create more skin issues, such as: -redness -discoloration -hyperpigmentation -irreversible spots -bacterial infections Ironically, if you use chemical peels too often, you may risk bringing on the issue you want to treat. So, how often is too often? The answer depends on the strength of the chemical peel. For instance, are you using at-home products or medical-grade peels from an esthetician? Chances are if you're using a peel you bought from the store, the chemicals are not as strong as professional peels. Although this is generally a con, you can typically use these superficial-level products more often without adverse reacti...
