Steps We Are Taking to Protect You from COVID-19

Fairlawn Aesthetic MD is happy to be open once again for our aesthetic treatments. We have all been affected by the pandemic, but we want to assure you we have always had the highest level of cleanliness in our offices and are going above and beyond even that standard.

These measures are to reduce the risk for YOU, our friends, neighbors and loved ones and staff from COVID-19. After reading the requirements, if you are not agreeable to any of the below info, we will need to reschedule your appointment. The following criteria will apply to all patients and are subject to change based on the CDC, Governor of Ohio and other practice policies.

  • Upon entry to the office, all patients will be asked to fill out a short COVID-19 questionnaire.
  • We ask that patients come alone to their appointments if at all possible.
  • We kindly ask that you come with your own mask.
  • Any patient over the age of 65, we strongly encourage to stay home.
  • We will space appointments with enough time to ensure patients are not sitting in our waiting area or interacting with one another.
  • Our staff will make efforts to room patients as soon as possible upon entry to limit waiting room volume. We have removed promotional materials as well as magazines.
  • Each room will be disinfected before and after each treatment encounter.
  • High traffic areas such as front desk counter and door handles will be sanitized frequently throughout the day.
  • Hand sanitizer will be provided upon walking in and in every room.
  • Providers and team members will wear masks, maintain social distance and have their temperatures taken every day.

We will be keeping you up to date with any changes as we know more and as the situation changes, and we are looking forward to seeing you all again in the near future. Don't forget that Fairlawn Aesthetic MD proudly serves Mansfield, Lexington, Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion, and Ashland!

Cryo T-Shock Benefits

CryoT-Shock has a lot of questions surrounding it. Cryo-T shock is a revolutionary fat loss treatment. We hear clients asking the same few things a lot, "How does it work? Is it safe? How long do the results last? Is it painful?" Dr. Matt McDaniel and the team at Fairlawn Aesthetics performs the fat loss treatment in the Akron Canton area and want to make sure you have all the answers about your Cryo T-Shock fat loss treatment. Cryo T-Shock uses a cooling and heating system to contour your body. Your treatment will begin with a few minutes of heat before switching to a prolonged cooling period, and then finishes with a few more minutes of heat. The cool temperatures cause fat cells to go through something called apoptosis. Apoptosis is caused when fat tissue reaches an internal temperature range between 53 and 62 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the temperature has reached this low, the fat cells begin to die and are then naturally passed out of the body. While res...

Bringing Mansfield Botox and Skin Treaments

Recently, Fairlawn Aesthetic MD has added a secondary location. They were previously providing services to those closer to Akron, Ohio, but with this second location, they will be able to provide all the same services to an entirely different population of Ohio. Fairlawn Aesthetic MD specializes in many different aesthetic treatments, including Botox, tattoo removal, and facial thread lifts. They are able to bring the area of Mansfield Botox with their location in Ontario, Ohio. They take care of their customers and even do their facial thread lifts without a single cut, it is purely injections. Fairlawn Aesthetic MD uses NovaThreads for the process , they are a synthetic, absorbable surgical suture composed of polydioxanone. These sutures are used to perform cardiothoracic surgery, like open-heart surgery, and are one of the safest materials to be implanted in the body. The best part is that your skin fully absorbs polydioxanone sutures within 4 to 6 months, without leaving any scar...

The Truth About Botox

Is Botox really bad for you? You've heard all the negative talk about Botox: "Botox is toxic for your skin." "It's so unnatural." "Don't screw up your face." "You don't need that filler." But, have you heard the truth in all the noise? There are many misconceptions about Botox treatment, and it often gets a bad rep because it is regarded as unsafe, unnatural, and unnecessary. Keep reading on as we expose each of these three myths. #1: Botox is Unsafe The idea that Botox is unsafe is centered around its main ingredient: botulinum. In high percentages, botulinum is considered a toxin and can be deadly. In controlled dosages, it can safely and effectively produce the muscle paralysis effects that Botox is known for. However, if you are considering Botox injections, it is very important to visit an experienced professional so that the dosage is spread evenly and is injected into the correct muscle. #2: Botox is Unnatural...
